“Paul has kept me going during my time playing this extremely frustrating game! Regular coaching using the video analysis has helped massively especially been able to review the lessons afterwards as a reminder.”

“Being away on tour for weeks at a time means I can send my swing over at anytime if I feel that something is not quite right or sometimes I just need confirmation that everything is looking good.”

“From the day I started Paul has been very patient and through regular coaching I am now playing 18 holes and loving it. Couldn't have done it without the academy membership.”

FAQ

  • I’m a complete beginner — is this right for me?

Yes. Everything at Learn About Golf is built specifically for people starting from scratch. No assumptions. No jargon. No pressure.

  • What equipment do I need?

We'll run through this but ideally at least a couple of clubs to begin with, a putter and a 7 iron. You will require more clubs as the course progress's. The intermediate and advanced courses we would expect you to have a set of golf clubs.

  • Do I need to be fit or athletic to learn golf

No. Golf is about technique, understanding, and confidence — not strength or fitness. We teach in a way that works with your body, not against it.

  • What if I don’t know which option to choose?

If you’re new to golf, the Beginners Academy is the best place to start. It gives you a clear path and builds confidence step by step.

  • Am I too old to start?

Absolutely not - many of our beginners are 40, 50, 60+ starting golf for the first time.

  • Can I learn online, or do I need in-person lessons?

Both work. Many beginners start online to understand the basics, then add in-person lessons later. You don’t have to choose just one.
